Speed up slow android

I’ve got a shield tablet, galaxy s5, and galaxy note 10.1 2014. All the of these devices were so slow, I was looking for replacements of a different type. If the speed of my devices at purchase was a 10, then it had become a 2. However, I read a post that said to remove the Facebook app before doing anything drastic. That post was correct. All three devices, android versions of kit Kat 4.4.4 and lollipop 5.0.1, are now operating at speed 10 again. To be safe, I removed all social media apps, and now use their respective websites instead. Give it a try.
